Little girls had the opportunity of a lifetime to became princesses for a day during Skedaddles “Tea Party” Aug. 30.
The indoor playroom at Skedaddles looked more like a scene from the Walt Disney movie “Cinderella” as little girls in beautiful dresses gathered with their crowns and wands.
“We haven’t done anything boy or girl-specific and we wanted to end the summer with a bang with a special event,” said owner Dini Ricchiuti.
The event included food, games and a chance for participants to play with make-up. Jenny Enyeart, of Canfield, was excited as she watched her daughter and niece play.
“They had a lot of fun. They got their hair done and their make-up done. They just loved it,” Enyeart said.
Although the event was full of excitement, some parents were more pleased to see their daughters improving their social skills and meeting new friends.
“I brought her here to have more interaction with other girls. She’s only 3-years-old, so she needs more social skills. She loved it and she had so much fun that she doesn’t want to leave. I would definitely encourage other parents to bring their children to a place like this. It’s great and safe,” said Maribel Capeles.
